Revision as of 00:38, 3 February 2013
I receive my TV signal from the Mendip transmitter. Here are my settings as of 5th April 2012:
Multiplex | Frequency | Strength | Example channel |
---|---|---|---|
PSB1 | 794 MHz (61) | 86 | BBC 1 (1) |
PSB2 | 738 MHz (54) | 93 | ITV 1 (3) |
PSB3 (HD) | 770 MHz (58) | 78 | BBC 1 HD (101) |
COM4 | 690 MHz (48) | 70 | ITV 3 (10) |
COM5 | 754 MHz (56) | 80 | Pick TV (11) |
COM6 | 722 MHz (52) | 91 | Film4 (15) |
The frequency is shown in MHz along with the channel number of the frequency. The example channel is shown by name along with the channel number it is normally allocated. If you can receive all the example channels then you have tuned in all the multiplexes. Other transmitters will be similar, but will use different frequencies for each multiplex.
